Why do I publish on Ream?
I publish most of my material on Ream for several reasons.
First, it is a website designed specifically for authors. Ream’s layout and structure lends itself well to publishing fictional works.
Second, Ream is a small privately owned American company started and operated by entrepreneurs who remain loyal to the site’s independence from large corporate entities.
Thirdly, Ream’s payout system is very generous to authors. Unlike certain other sites who pay less, Ream account holders receive around 80% of the money their customers pay.
Fourth, It is easy to add to my stories, publish them in serial fashion, or edit them at any time.
How does it work? Ream is a subscription-based reading site. You select subscription tiers from your favorite author(s) and pay monthly. You can cancel a subscription at any time. There is no base fee to use the system, for the author or the reader.
How does Ream work for readers?
You can select a subscription tier based on which stories you wish to read. Each of my pen names has a $3 / month subscription tier, or you can subscribe to all four for $10 / month. Your payment will be deducted by autopay once you set it up. There’s also a $50 / month level in case any millionaires feel like funding the arts at a benefactor level. (I’m not holding my breath, but hey).
Ream is available in nearly all countries of the world, wherever there is unrestricted internet access, as far as I know. Your payment may be in your national currency depending on your situation.
You may cancel any subscription tier at any time without hassle.
