James Samuel Davis
James Samuel Davis is a Christian author living in Greenville, South Carolina. He and his wife, Debbie, have nine children. He works as a process server across a wide operating area.
Born in Kennebec County, Maine, he grew up in the North Woods, and his writings are profoundly affected by his time spent among the blue-collar laboring class of New England, as well as his family’s unusual status as home-schooling Christians. Time spent in Australia, Asia, Micronesia, Alaska, Oregon, and the Southeastern United States, and interacting with people from many of the world’s nations, has given him an international perspective.
A passion for history and the differences in cultures and languages also fuels his creative writing content. Most of all, a profound love of Jesus Christ and His glorious Gospel of grace overrides everything else.
James’s fiction career began with the publishing of the Hearts of Oak series, co-authored with his mom, Susan Page Davis.
